Since 2019, Kapital has demonstrated leadership in the financial industry in terms of AML prevention by developing clear policies and procedures in line with the regulatory framework applicable to the sector and in compliance with the standards set forth by the FATF (Financial Action Task Force).

Added to this, professionalism constitutes one of our essential attributes, which has allowed us to lead in AML prevention through the development of clear policies and procedures aligned with FATF guidelines.
With the objective of maintaining this leadership, we have made significant investments in human capital, training, and particularly in information systems that strengthen internal controls over transactions, generating early-warning alerts that help proactively mitigate risks.
Our corporate advisors operate under the “Know Your Customer” (KYC) framework, carrying out regular on-site visits to determine the source of funds, the purpose of transactions, and the transactional profile. This enables us to establish parameters for the daily monitoring of transactions by product, amount, frequency, and nature. To ensure efficiency in this task, we rely on an internally developed system: SysPLD.
Furthermore, each of our more than 2,500 employees strictly adheres to our Internal Code of Ethics and Conduct, receiving ongoing training and evaluation to reinforce the integrity of our most valuable asset: our human capital.
Through these measures, we reaffirm our commitment to AML prevention and regulatory compliance in Mexico and internationally, considering this to be a fundamental duty within our actions as a Socially Responsible Company.
